The beginning

Our story begins in 1979 within the maritime industry, where our founder embarked on a journey that would span more than
four decades of technical expertise, operational insight, and industry
leadership. Founded and located at the harbour in Esbjerg, Denmark, our roots
have always been closely tied to one of Northern Europe’s most important
maritime hubs. Over the years, this deep knowledge of maritime operations laid
the groundwork for innovations that set new standards in onboard safety and
operational performance.

A new chapter

In 1999, the foundation of Seamaster marked a new chapter. As specialists in ship navigation equipment and marine electronics, Seamaster earned a reputation as a trusted supplier, renowned for quality and reliability across the maritime sector.

For more than 25 years, the company has served fishing vessels, commercial vessels, naval vessels, and special-purpose boats, consistently delivering products tested by both man and nature.

Our mission

Building on this legacy, SEARCHMASTER was founded in 2019 as a sister company under the Seamaster Holding umbrella. Our founder´s mission was to transform maritime lighting by developing next-generation searchlight systems engineered for extreme marine environments.
Designed for superior durability, efficiency, and reliability, our products ensure that every vessel can operate safely and efficiently, even in the most challenging conditions.

The commitment

Our company continues to design, develop, and test all products at our production facilities in Denmark, ensuring strict quality control and close collaboration between development and manufacturing. In 2026, our innovative design was patented, cementing our commitment to safety and cutting-edge technology at sea.

Today, SEARCHMASTER is represented worldwide, supported by a strong global distributor network and trusted by maritime professionals across all sectors.
